Brand new designed F – Body platform. Almost all of 1967–1969 Camaros were built in the Norwood, Ohio and Van Nuys, California plants although a few were built at plants outside the US. The F-body was shared with the Pontiac Firebird for all generations. With the introduction of Astro Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system, the side vent windows were deleted. Billet ribbed Aluminum deferential cover. Posi traction rear. “Hotchkiss Sport Suspension” rear. High performance multi-leaf rear springs vs. single-leaf units. Factory A Arm front suspension, completely rebuilt front suspension, New Shocks. The rear shock absorber mounts are staggered to keep rubber to asphalt. Exterior – Matador Red code RR paint looks great. Excellent lines, gaps and the black vinyl top was professionally installed, super snug fit, “like new” condition. Front nose Black SS Camaro stripe that tappers down to a point on the side body shape. Side marker lights were new and added on the front and rear fenders due to safety requirements for all 1968 vehicles. The 68 featured a more pointed front grille & divided rear taillights, front running lights changed from circular to oval. The big-block SS models received chrome hood inserts that imitated velocity stacks and low-gloss black rear tail light panel. All the outside trim shines bright, the top of the door extra wide window weather strip, the rocker panel thin trim piece ( vs. full rocker panels ) merge into beautiful wheel well trim. Interior features aftermarket Black racing style bucket seats with hip supports. Beautiful stitched black vinyl Upholstery. Factory original back seat. Console with cubby and cup holders. Column shift. Tilt steering column. Dash front and dash pad have a few nicks. Hooded Speedometer and Tack reminiscent of hooded headlights of the 50’s. Beautiful wood grain surrounds the radio, AC control levers and vents. Engine compartment to make you grin. Very clean. All hoses and wiring look great. 396 cu in (6.5 L) producing 325 hp and plenty of torque to mold you into your seat. Factory chrome valve covers. Flagged 325 HP Turbo Fire sticker chrome air cleaner. Hi Flow aluminum water pump. Factory correct rims. Good red stripe wall tires.
